Meet Our Staffy Calendar Stars
A concerned member of the public contacted QSAR about a puppy that someone tried to drown. This little puppy was suffering neurological problems and was not eating or drinking. Stella came into foster care with Andrea. Stella was hand and syringe fed every three hours for the first 5 days in care, Stella weighed 1.01kg at 8 weeks old it was not known if she'd survive. With love and proper medical attention Stella is improving everyday. Now nearly 5 months old and weighing in at 3.8kg Stella continues to defy the odds and is a beautiful little girl who loves to play with big brother Sampson and chill with her Chi sister Miss Ocean.
Teela came to QSAR as a surrender from Bundaberg at 8 weeks old. She has a cleft lip and was failing to thrive, also her owner said she was not the breed of dog they were told when they bought her. Although she’s not a Staffy she was welcomed with open arms at QSAR and since being rescued she has come so far. Teela loves her food and is eager to please when learning new things. She loves kids of all ages and her foster family absolutely adore her.
